Efforts of HM King, HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister to support citizens praised by Speaker

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has extended deepest thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, for his directives to protect fishermen and preserve their livelihoods, praising the Capital Governor’s delivery of the assistance ordered by HM the King to fishermen, as part of the royal keenness to provide the requirements of decent life for all the citizens.


The speaker highlighted HM the King’s unwavering keenness to ensure the interests and rights of the citizens, being a national priority and a firm royal approach, praising HM King Hamad’s directives to support the fishermen and their families following the serious damages they have suffered as a result of the irresponsible practices of the Qatari authorities towards them and their livelihoods.


In another context, the Speaker extended sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for HRH’s directives to double social security assistance and disability pensions, as well as orders to the Ministry of Labour and Social Development to start disbursing payments during the holy month of Ramadan, noting that the kind gesture is in line with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s keenness to alleviate the living burdens on low-income families in light of the requirements of the holy month of Ramadan.


The speaker affirmed that the tremendous efforts exerted by HM the King and HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister to provide the requirements of decent living for the citizens are a source of pride for all Bahrainis and their representatives, noting that the one-family approach, social cohesion and solidarity are among the basic pillars and fundamentals of the national march, under the comprehensive development march, led by HM King Hamad.
